It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Antonio Hernandez (Meriden, Connecticut), who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilia Cotto and Antonio Hernandez; his wife Juana Hernandez Neris; and his daughter Wanda Iris Hernandez. He is survived by: his children, George David Hernandez and Norma Rosado-Javier; his son-in-law Marino Javier; his granddaughters, Jennilyn Rosado, Jasmine Rosado-Kennedy and Crystal Javier; and his great grandchildren, Celeste and Declan Kennedy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home (88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (35 Center St, Meriden, CT 06450).
