He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Young and Catherine Young (Ames); and his siblings, Francis Young, Katherine Pallis, Roseann Gardon and Maureen Schappert.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Young (Vann); his children, Loretta Y. Milardo (William), Vann J. Young (Kristine) and Joseph R. Young (Audrey); his grandchildren, Erin Cote (Benjamin), James Finley III, Brendan Finley (Celine), Michael Finley, Eliana Young, Dermott Young, Stephanie Milardo (Eric) and Lindsay Milardo (Christopher); his great grandchildren, Tristan Cote, Owen Cote, Caroline Cote, Jaxson Williams and Ellena Williams; his brother John A. Young (Emilia); and his son-in-law Bill Milardo. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
