She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Atherton and Katherine McMorrow Atherton; her son James "Jim" Jukonski; and her former husband Michael Jukonski Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Michael Jukonski Jr. of Meriden and Christine Jukonski of Meriden.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Angels Church (585 Main St, Meriden, CT 06451).
She was especially proud of her work with the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, where she raised six puppies for their program.
