She is survived by: her children, Johanna Ortíz of Milford, Grisset Ortíz of Meriden, Melvin Ortíz (Kayla) of Middletown and Elio Ortíz of New Haven; her siblings, Ada Escobales of Rio Piedras, PR, Lourdes Escobales (Felix Casillas) of Carolina, PR, Lolin Acévedo of San Juan, PR, Miguel Angel Escobales, Miguel Escobales (Linda) of Miami, FL, Luís Escobales of Kissimmee, FL and Edwin Escoblaes (Luz Esquelin) of San Antonio, TX; and her grandchildren, Melaydee Rivera, Alex Rodríguez, Melvin Ortíz, Jr., Melanie Ortíz, Michael Ortíz, Kyara Crespo, Kelvin Espinal, Karsyn Lowery and Leila Rosado. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
