The memory of Maryanne Cassidy of Meriden, Connecticut, who passed away on December 11, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Maryanne shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Maryanne farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cassidy and Mary Cassidy (Swift); and her brothers, Bill, Bob, Jack, Harold, Rich and James. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and some of the best friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home (88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Church (109 Goodwill Ave, Meriden, CT 06451). A burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (250 Gypsy Ln, Meriden, CT 06450).
