He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphee Poirier and Rosalie Poirier (Cote); his daughter Andrea Joy; and his siblings, Albert, Romeo, Raymond, Henry, Ernest, Terry and Juliette.
He is survived by: his wife Elizbeth Deane (Hann); his children, Joseph M. Poirier (Susan) of Virginia, Juliette Buccilli (Michael) of Wallingford and Blaine Poirier (Mary-Jo) of Meriden; his grandchildren, Emilie Brooks of Virginia, Joseph Poirier (Catherine) of Virginia, Gemma, Rosalie Buccilli of Wallingford and Daisy Joy Poirier of Meriden; his great grandchild Amelia Rose Brooks of Virginia; and his sister Pauline Girard of New Bedford, Mass.. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
