He was predeceased by: his mother Carol Bernier; and his sister Alison Pinckney (Bernier). He is survived by: his father Thomas Bernier; his husband Steven Powell; his brothers, Wayne Bernier and Neil Bernier; and his pet Bentley.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home (88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Thomas Cemetery (209 Belleview Ave, Southington, CT 06489).
