We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2025, at the age of 91, Michael J. Spellacy of Meriden, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. Spellacy and Edna Russell Spellacy; his brother Kenneth Spellacy; and his grandmother Nora Russell. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Susan Willette (Andrew) of Meriden, Kevin Spellacy (Rhonda) of Vero Beach and Mark Spellacy of Southington; his grandchildren, Matthew Spellacy (Jill), Daniel Spellacy (Kelly), Christopher Graham (Karen) and Justine Sylvester (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Lane, Fiona, Rosalia Spellacy, Jack, Ben Spellacy, Lukas, Lake Graham, Carter, Molly and Raegan Sylvester.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home (88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (250 Gypsy Ln, Meriden, CT 06450).
