He was predeceased by: his parent Flora Lee Hicks. He is survived by: his children, Michael C. Washington Jr. (Melissa) and Delmitria Washington-Gary (Antoine); his grandchildren, V. J. of Ayana, C. J., Elijah, Angelina, Sy'aire, Amir and Aubriella; his siblings, Deborah, Judy, Larry, Brent, Lester, Timothy, George and Ann; and his daughter Shanita. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
