He was predeceased by: his parents, Sotero Roldan and Amelia Roldan (Cortez); his son Edgardo Roldan; and his grandson Joshua Roldan. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Badillo Roldan; his children, Maritza Rosado, Yessenia, Wanda Roldan, Nelson Roldan Jr. (Joan Oriol) and Anthony Roldan; his grandchildren, Nelson, Geraldo, Yaritza, Naomi, Janiris, Michael, Jamilex, Eliza, Daniel, Fernando, Jason, Analise, Yanitza and Lisbeth; and his sisters, Carmen, Gudelia and Mirta Roldan. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
