He was predeceased by: his father Woodrow Howard Ward; his daughter LaTanya Ward; and his stepson James Durham. He is survived by: his mother Brenda Joyce Ward; his wife Madeline Rodriguez; his close friend Tammy Kurchinsk; his children, Lisa Ward, Maria Ward, Brenda Ward, Taia Rivera Ward, O'Neal Ward Jr., Marilis Ward and O'Neallaris Ward; and his sisters, Evangeline Ward-Byrd (DJ Byrd), Lakeitha Johnson (Calvin Byrd), Clara Ward and Cassandra Ward. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the funeral home to help cover the cost of funeral expenses. Contributions may also be made to his children, Lisa, Maria, and Brenda.
