It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard E. Egan of Meriden, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Louise Markham Egan; his parents, John Egan and Mary Egan (Flynn); his son Donald Egan; and his brothers, Joseph and John Egan.

He is survived by: his daughter Donna Egan; and his granddaughters, Ashley and Gabriela Egan.

At his request, please do not send flowers but instead donate in his memory to the: Antique Veterans, c/o the Meriden Senior Center, 22 West Main St. Meriden, CT 06451, or have Masses said in his memory.
