Bernier; his siblings, Lorraine Hardy and Gerard (Norma); his children, Richard of Virginia Beach, VA, Tracey Lamoreux, Kelly Burns (William) of Iowa City, IA and Laura Brackett (Blaine) of Middletown; his grandchildren, William Burns (Victoria), Abigail Burns of Iowa City, Daniel Burns (Abigail) of Chapel Hill, NC and Nicholas Lamoreux; his great grandchildren, Theodore and Eloise Burns of Iowa City; his friend Tony Maina; and his pet Casper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
