He is survived by: his wife Marie Machinello Gibson; his sons, Daniel Robert Gibson (Christina Durso Gibson) of Glastonbury and David Mathew Gibson of Meriden; his grandchildren, Emily Marie Gibson, Thomas Robert Gibson and Alexander Daniel Gibson; his siblings, William Gibson, Richard Gibson (Jane Gibson) and Marian Mathieu; and his sisters-in-law, Denise Plante and Mary Ellen Gibson. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and a grandnephew.
