It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose-Marie C. Murtagh (Meriden, Connecticut), who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas J. Murtagh Sr.; her parents, Angelina Cerasale Sr. (Comparato) and Augustine Okoroafor; her brothers, Alphonse Cerasale Jr. and Liberato Cerasale (Gertrude); her siblings-in-law, Cornelius Murtagh, Paul Hourigan and Barbara Cerasale; her niece Kathleen Murtagh; and her nephew Shawn Murtagh.
She is survived by: her children, Maryann LaRoche (Robert), Rosemarie Murtagh and Thomas Murtagh (Claudia); her grandchildren, Gabriella and Daniel Murtagh; her siblings, Teresa Hourigan and Emidio Cerasale Jr. (Maryann); her sister-in-law Lois Cerasale; and her godchildren, Mary Jane Ryan and Kurt Hourigan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
