He was predeceased by: his grandfather Richard Ortiz Sr.; and his uncles, Milton Montesdeoca, Sr. and Guy Edward Bacote. He is survived by: his parents, Michelle Evette Bacote and Sammy Richard Ortiz Sr. Sammy; his siblings, Tiffanie, Christina, Samantha, Sammia, Solana, Teal, Reggie and Leon; and his grandparents, Carmen Montesdeoca, Leon and Rita Bacote. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
