She is survived by: her husband Tom; her daughter Erin (Elias Rodriguez) of Torrington; her grandchildren, Scarlett and Wyatt Rodriguez of Torrington; and her brothers, Herbert K. Smith II (Darlene) of Suffield and Robert Smith (Lucy Frazier) of East Haven.
