He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Roberts (Kathryn) and Timothy Roberts (Amy); his grandsons, Benjamin, William and Leo; and his siblings, Kathleen Celentano (Robert), Maureen Mottola, Doyle Roberts (Donna) and William Roberts (Eileen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to The Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Ave, Meriden, CT 06450.
