He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Kennedy and Nora Kennedy (Knightly); his wife Patricia Ann Kennedy (O'Reilly); his son Thomas M. Kennedy Jr.; and his siblings, John J. "Jack" Kennedy, Marie Young (Kennedy) and Helen John (Kennedy).
He is survived by: his stepmother Fanny Kennedy; and his daughter Maura J. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home (88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (35 Center St, Meriden, CT 06450).
