He is survived by: his wife Maria Angelina Goncalves (DeSousa); his daughter Lucia "Lucy" Martins (Rogerio) of Prospect, CT; his grandchildren, Daniel and Sofia Martins; and his sister Maria Emilia Esteves of Germany.
