In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy David leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though David may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his brother Ronald Footit; his cousin Joel Bailey; and his grandparents, Charles, Anna Footit, Walter and Mildred Markiewicz.
He is survived by: his parents, Charles Footit and Lorraine Footit (Markiewicz) of Middlefield; his daughters, Rachel Footit (Brett) of Morrowville, KS and Victoria Footit (Ross) of St. Johnsbury, VT.; his friend Donna Dellaripa of Griswold, CT.; Scott Footit (Eva) of Berlin, CT.. He is also survived by uncle and two aunts along with a nephew and many nieces.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Cemetery (19 N Maple St, East Hampton, CT 06424).
