She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Filanda; her parents, Vincent Szapowski and Anna Szapowski (Muzen); her son Paul Filanda; and her siblings, Mary Ressler, Veronica Fazzino, Bernice Russo, Sophie Novak, Wally, Stanley, Joseph, Peter and Vincent (Walter Szpakowski).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Filanda (Donna) of East Hampton and Bonnie Weller of Middletown; her grandchildren, Michael Weller, Lynn Filanda and Laura Filanda; and her sister Kay Greco of Middletown.
