He was predeceased by: his wife Lenore Schumann (Wrang); his parents, Robert H. Schumann and Leta Schumann (Bigoness); his daughter Carol E. Schumann; and his siblings, Leonard M., Roy W. Schumann and Arlene Schumann.
He is survived by: his children, Alan R. Schumann, Jr. (Marisa) of Cromwell and Erica Cosenza (Frank) of Old Saybrook; his grandchildren, Matthew Schumann (Rebekah) of Cromwell, Kathryn Schumann of New York City, NY, Nicholas Cosenza (Michelle) of Kodiak, AK and A. J. Cosenza (Emily) of Boston, MA; and his great grandchild Arthur F. Cosenza. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. John Church (5 St Johns Ct, Cromwell, CT 06416).
