With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann Rizza of Middletown, Connecticut, who passed away on June 18, 2025 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Ann departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ann may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ann leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Rizza; and her parents, Vito and Maria. She is survived by: her children, Maryann Piscitello (James), Samuel Rizza (Pamela-Anne) and Linda Peterson; and her grandchildren, Jason Piscitello, Lana Piscitello, Dawn Miller, Erica Peterson and Devin Peterson. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doolittle Funeral Home (14 Old Church St, Middletown, CT 06457). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Pius X Church (310 Westfield St, Middletown, CT 06457).
