She was predeceased by: her parents, John Askew and Lavada Askew (Jennings); her husband John Lee; her children, James, Howard, Albert and Annie Jo; and her grandsons, Matthew and Ronald.
She is survived by: her son Louis; her grandchildren, Marlon (Aretha) and Salena (Johnnie); her caregivers, Greg (Amy), Kim (Carlos), John Lee, Michelle and James Jr.; her great great grandchild Evelyn Pearl; and her daughter-in-law Mary. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & cousins.
