She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Baker and Minnie B. Williams (Allston). She is survived by: her daughters, Carmen D. Ready of Middletown and Tami C. Ready Stuckey of Middletown; her sister Barbara C. Chisem of Middletown; her grandchildren, Shanae, Tiana and Ariana; her great grandchildren, Zakhi, Aniyah, Elijah, Zaya and LaQuan, Jr.; her friend Patricia Warmsley of Middletown; and her sister-in-law Roxanne Ready of South Carolina. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
