He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Sawa); his sons, Benedict Jr. (Heidi) and Michael (Nanci); his grandchildren, Kristina, Mikey, Chloe, Ethan, Abby, Austin and McKenzie; and his sister Elena Vaitkus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cody-White Funeral Home (107 Broad St, Milford, CT 06460). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Connecticut Veterans Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
