He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ann Rinaldo Lagana; his daughters, Anna Hoffman, Susan Lagana-Richards (Scott), Gina Lagana and Maria Calabro (Keith); his grandchildren, Christine Slater, David Hoffman of Charles, C. J., Long, Michael, Benjamin, Sarah Calabro, Jessica Padnes and Brittany Richards; his great grandchildren, Ashley Slater and Madilyn Curtis; and his siblings, Ugo Lagana, Ottavia Scianna and Flavia Didato.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations are made to St. Mary's Church in Portland, CT or the Portland Police Department.
