He is survived by: his spouse Marcia L. Meehl (Hofher); his parent Daisy Meehl (Perkins); his son David Meehl, Jr. of Higganum; and his grandchildren, David Meehl III, Josh, Caitlyn and Cooper. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
