With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Kelly (Middletown, Connecticut), born in Camden, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on September 30, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Kelley and Leila Dow Kelley; and his sister-in-law Sheila Scott. He is survived by: his daughter Alexis Nicole Kelly (Lemuel); his wife Carrie Kelly; his daughters, Marcia Noel, Kisha Salters-Woodson, Jocelynn Salters and Jasmine Salters; his grandchildren, Desmond, Bernard, Judah, Matthew, Jr. and Janiyah; his siblings, Almeta Hudson and William Kelly; and his nephews, Jermaine Scott and Jamaar Scott. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Luke's Episcopal Church (111 Whalley Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Connecticut State Veteran's Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
