She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Howley and Mary Ann Cartelli (Rafala). She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Augeri (Chris) of Middletown; her siblings, Donna Rondinone of Colchester, Michael Howley (Loretta) of Rhode Island, Timothy Howley of Beverly Hills and Matthew Howley of New York, NY.; her grandchild Ciarah Augeri (Nicholas LaMonte); and her great grandchild Giovanni LaMonte. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Biega Funeral Home (3 Silver St, Middletown, CT 06457). A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Fellowship Church (1002 Saybrook Rd, Middletown, CT 06457).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or Fellowship Church, in honor of Debbie's generous and caring spirit.

“I met Deb at work over 40 years ago beginning a 35 year career.We became friends through the years events and occasions. Without question as so many have always said, Debbie made an impression of one of the sweetest and genuinely pleasant persons I ever met. You were a gift to all you came in contact with. Becoming an RN, she was an example for what an outstanding professional health care provider should be. DEB is lived by all of us and will never be forgotten. Prayers to you and your family.”
