With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Burr of Middletown, Connecticut, born in Bristol, Connecticut, who passed away on April 22, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Ceder, Sr. and Viola May Ceder (Pelletier); her son James Burr; her grandchildren, Luke Burr and Kyle Paluha; and her brothers, Bill, Ralph and David Ceder, Jr..
She is survived by: her spouse Burr, Sr.; her children, Tracy Caffery (Robert) of Clinton, Vernon Burr, Jr. of Meriden, Alan Hewitt-Burr (Mary Jean "MJ") of Middletown, Gary Burr of Middletown and Brian Burr (Loree) of Middletown; her brother Lawrence Ceder (Franof North Branford); and her sisters-in-law, Sheila Ceder of East Hampton, Bettie Ceder of Florida and Winifred Burr of Haddam. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
