She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Adolfer Cody and Lilly Cody (Hillman); her husband Herman Howell; and her daughter Evelyn Cody. She is survived by: her children, Donnie Cody of Georgia, James Cody of New York, Junior Cody of Connecticut, Addie "Michelle" Howell of Connecticut, Corecca "San" Howell of Connecticut and Veronica Cody of Connecticut. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
