She was predeceased by: her brother Bill Shields; and her parents, Thomas E. III and Violet Weir Shields, III. She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Kalb; her son-in-law Steven Kalb of Cheshire; and her grandson Martin Kalb of Cheshire.
For ten years, she served as an Activity Aide at the Elim Park Baptist Home in Cheshire, including front-line work in the later months of the pandemic.
