It is with sadness that the passing of Douglas James Wise (Middletown, Connecticut) is shared. Douglas, born on November 7, 1950, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James Wise and Clero M. Wise (Mack); and his brother Robert Wise (Bobby). He is survived by: his children, Justin Wise, Carly Wise Spadafora (Matt), Sarah, Joelle M. Wise (GA) and Joshua Wise (CT); his sister Zynide M. Banks (NJ); his nieces, Nichelle Banks Ellard (Keith, MD) and Lashanna Banks-Thomas of David, FL; his great-nephews, Emmanuel Ellard (Andreya) and Daniel Banks (Jinelle); his great-niece Angela N. Ellard; and his friends, Tim Jones, Roderick Ruth (Suggie), Janise Gray, Bayram Yildaz, John Morrell, Venhar and Michael Price.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the State Veterans Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
