He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond McRae and Bertha McRae; his wife Lessie; and his siblings, Thelma (Riley), Vivian (Wesley), Irving and Willard.

He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Katherine McRae and Althea McRae; and his friend Mary. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, many close friends.
