He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Joan Bailey (Ellsworth); and his parents, William Bailey and Mary Bailey. He is survived by: his stepson Michael Vespa of Cromwell; his grandsons, Michael D. Vespa (Kelsey) and Matthew C. Vespa of Cromwell; his sister-in-law Gladys Goodrich of Northport, FL; and his nieces, Michele Carrabbia (Mario) of Cromwell and Denise Carbonell (Ken) of Stanford, ME.
