He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Lajoie (Ouellette); his children, Sandra Etzel (Peter) of Middletown, Michael Lajoie (Lisa) of Barre, VT and Douglas Lajoie (Lynnae) of Niantic; his grandchildren, Aaron (AJ), Alyssa, Kevin, Taylor, Patricia, Melinda, Candice and Steven; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Harper, Kira, Amelia, Katherine, Gerow and Darren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Biega Funeral Home (3 Silver St, Middletown, CT 06457). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Pius X Catholic Church (310 Westfield St, Middletown, CT 06457).
