He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Brings and Christina Brings; his wife Veronica Brings; and his daughter Heidi Knapp. He is survived by: his sons, Hans Brings (Sarah) of Waltham, MA and Peter Brings (Robin) of Waltham, MA; his sisters, Doris of Germany and Christa Brings of Germany; his son-in-law Daniel Knapp of Middletown; and his grandsons, Hans Brings, David Knapp and Jesse Brings.
