It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harold Kaplan of Middletown, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Kaplan and Fannie Kaplan (Jacobs); and his siblings, Abner Kabatznick, Elliot Fleischer and Tillie Kaplan.
He is survived by: his siblings, Edith Kabatznick, Shirley Fleischer and William Kaplan; his wife Dorothy Kaplan (Cotzen); his children, Michael J. Kaplan (Judy) and Julie B. Kaplan (Uwe Mester) of Charlotte, Vermont; and his grandchildren, Zoe Kaplan, Luka Mester and Shana Mester. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their extended families.
