James Frank Mazzei Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of James Frank Mazzei of Middletown, Connecticut is shared. James, born on June 5, 1946, passed away on October 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Mazzei and Frank Mazzei; and his brother Joel. He is survived by: his wife Helga; his children, Christina and Eric; his grandchildren, Cassandra Heidecker (Brett Slomkowski) and Dylan Heidecker; his great grandchild Lucas Slomkowski; his siblings, Sharon Mochnaly (Dan), Michele Mazzei Brooks (Scott) and Frank Mazzei (Bonnie); and his sister-in-law Thea Knapp (Erich). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
