He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank S. Gilchrest Sr. and Marie Gilchrest (Garrity). He is survived by: his wife Susan Gilchrest (Messina); his daughter Melissa Cody (Michael) of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Makayla and Michael Jr.; and his brother Frank Gilchrest Jr..
