It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine DiBenedetto of Middletown, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 7, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William G. Holcomb and Katherine Holcomb (Koch); her husband Tito A. DiBenedetto; her sister-in-law Christine Fazzina; and her siblings, Laurie Holcomb, William and Robert Holcomb.
She is survived by: her children, Maria of Middletown, Steve Weinberger of Middletown, Tony of Middletown, Laura DiBenedetto of Middletown, Loretta of Middletown and Ronald Brown, Sr. of Middletown; her grandchildren, Nichole DiBenedetto, Tom (Amber DiBenedetto), Mary Reinsch and Timmy Reinsch; her brothers-in-law, Charlie (Barbara DiBenedetto) and George Fazzina; and her sisters, Betty (Roy Balthazard), Tricia Rice, Mary Vachon and Nancy (Kevin Searles).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, whose mission Tito and Kathy supported, or another charitable organization of your choice.
