She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Seagrave and Ruth Seagrave (Champion); her husband Anthony Czapla of Wethersfield; her sister Eleanor S. Ashworth; her brother-in-law Cecil S. Ashworth of Kensington; her siblings, Ruth Seagrave of Middletown and Walter; her sister-in-law Nancy Seagrave of Cromwell; her brothers, John Seagrave of Middletown and Robert Seagrave of Higganum; and her nephews, John Seagrave Jr. of Middletown and William Ashworth of Columbia.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Barbara Seagrave of Higganum. She is also survived by several nephews, a niece and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Biega Funeral Home (3 Silver St, Middletown, CT 06457). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the State Veterans' Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
