She was predeceased by: her spouse Antoni Mietkiewicz; her parents, Peter Wacht and Josephine Wacht (Kisiel); her daughter Marie Mietkiewicz; and her son-in-law Jeffrey Eckert, Sr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Eckert of Higganum, Barbara Rioux of Moodus and Lisa Shubat of East Haddam; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Eckert, Jr. (Marisa), Jack Eckert, Benjamin Rioux, Joseph Rioux and Danielle Shubat; and her great grandchildren, Margaret Eckert and Charlotte Eckert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (10 Elm St, Middletown, CT 06457).
