She is survived by: her sons, Michael Chowaniec (Michelle) of Virginia and Greg Chowaniec (Jean) of Middletown; and her siblings, Karol Struck of Middletown, Joachim Struck of Bristol and Sophie DiRenzo (Louis) of Middletown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
