She was predeceased by: her husband Felix DeMonte; her parents, Vincent James Tomassi and Concettina Tomassi (Licitra); her grandson Lt. Dustin DeMonte; and her siblings, Nancy Pessina, Virginia Daniels, Sarah Erico, Peter Tomassi, Corrado Tomassi and Joseph Scata.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Miller (Kris) of East Hampton, Gail Murphy (Paul) of Middletown, Philip Demonte, Sr. (Connie) of Middletown and James DeMonte of Middletown; her brother Charles Tomassi of Berlin; her grandchildren, Melissa, Philip, Jr., Kristopher, Miranda and Makayla; and her great grandchildren, Jakob, Adalyn, Phoebe, Aaron, Porter and Penelope.
