He was predeceased by: his parents, Carleton Goodale and Eleanor Goodale; and his siblings, Arthur "AJ" Goodale and Connie Musgrove (Goodale). He is survived by: his wife Joanne "Jo" Goodale (Atwood); his sister Andrea Goodale; his children, Paul A. Goodale Jr., Georganna, Paula Goodale Pacekonis, Lee (Beth Goodale), Todd Goodale (William Nabers) and Dana (Meegan Goodale); his grandchildren, Andrew (Andrea), Dean (Colleen), Olivia (Forrest), Taylor, Carly, Lacey, Parker, Abby, Jake, Anna, Johnny, Carson (Bridget), Dempsey, Braden, Mary Grace and Nolan; and his great grandchildren, Hailey and Emma.
