He was predeceased by: his daughter Allyson Mary Matteo. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his siblings, Allie Niemiec and Michele Stanley (Paul); his children, Melissa Matteo O'Hara (John O'Hara) and Michael Matteo (Cassandra); and his grandchildren, Erica Matteo, Michael Matteo, Jack O'Hara (Alyssa O'Hara) and Suzanne O'Hara. He is also survived by his sisters, children, grandchildren and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Biega Funeral Home (3 Silver St, Middletown, CT 06457). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (10 Elm St, Middletown, CT 06457).
