He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Overton (Dickerson); his sons, Maurice Overton of Middletown and Andre Overton of Waterbury; his stepson Darell Nesmith of Middletown; and his daughters, Salva Trice Cockrell of New Britain and Monifa Holman of Georgia. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
